Brazil. The sixth version of InfoComm Brazil, which will be held from April 2 to 4 between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Transamerica Expo Center in Sao Paulo, will feature an extensive academic program that covers all segments of the audiovisual industry.
Simultaneously, InfoComm Brazil will hold the LatinDisplay 2019 Congress, the largest event focused on the emerging technology of electronic exhibition of information in Latin America, continuing the focus of the Society for Information Display (SID) in the display technology community.
The meeting, which will take place on April 4, from 9am to 7.15pm, aims to involve scientists, teachers, students, engineers, technicians and the general public interested in learning about electrophoretic applications and devices of video, LCD, LEDs, OLED, PMOLED and 3D.
Visitors will be able to know the novelties in displays for applications, such as Augmented and Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging Displays, such as flexible OLED, reflective ePaper and microLED.
World premieres of new simulated reality technologies are scheduled for the event, which should attract VR/AR, commercial and industrial, entertainment, medical and military content creators.
Summits
InfoComm's already consolidated program of conferences and summits also reserved important novelties by bringing a series of specialized conferences that will be presented by more than 50 renowned market experts from various business segments.
The events will focus on networking, integration and discussion on current issues, especially when the topic is audiovisual technology and automation. They are:
- Digital Signage Summit: on digital signage technology for shops, shopping centers, restaurants, bars, gyms and any other type of company that wants to implement the resource. It will be held on 2 and 3 April, from 14.30 to 19h15.
- Control Rooms Summit: presents solutions for the design, assembly and operation of control rooms, monitoring centers and operation. It will be held on April 4, from 2:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
- Live Events Summit: with a focus on technology for shows, conventions, congresses and shows, it brings practical solutions for the acquisition and distribution of products, equipment and technological solutions for events. It will be held on 2 and 3 April, from 14.30 to 19h15.
- Worship For Av Tech Summit: For the first time in Brazil, it will bring discussions and technology novelties to worship. It will be held on April 4, from 2:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
- Intelligent Home Summit: You will have presentations and discussions on topics related to residential automation. It is carried out in partnership with AURESIDE, the main association in the sector. It will be held between April 2 and 4, from 2:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

On April 2 and 3, from 2:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., the AVIXA Training Program will address important issues for professionals and students in the audiovisual industry, being:
