Almo presented excellence awards to its partners

International. Almo Professional A/V has announced the recipients of its 2018 Almo Vendor Awards of Excellence. The awards were presented during the company's National Sales Meeting Gala held at the Baltimore Museum of Art, a major cultural destination recognized for dynamic exhibits and educational and community outreach programs.

"Supplier Excellence Awards night is always one of my favorites because we recognize the outstanding achievements of our suppliers. Each of this year's winners has gone above and beyond by partnering with Almo to better support the needs of the Integrator and Reseller Pro AV. They understand the importance of partnering outside of product sales and join us in creating strong relationships and marketing strategies that drive value and success." said Sam Taylor, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Almo Professional A/V.

He added, "These awards are indicative of the growth we are achieving together to provide comprehensive audio and video solutions, education, training and revenue growth services. Together, we intend to move forward and further expand the role of the distributor to ensure that our integrator and reseller partners continue to thrive in this industry."

The recipients of the Almo Pro A/V Vendor of the Year awards are as follows:

- Publicidad -

• Highest year-over-year growth in Essentials: Atlona Technologies
• Highest year-over-year growth for displays: Avocor
• Best sales on Essentials: ClickShare Boat
• Top Display Sales: NEC Display Solutions of America
• Salesperson of the Year Representative: Pat Mead, LegrandAV Brands

Themed "This is our year," Almo Pro A/V's national sales meeting included three full days of training and teamwork for more than 100 employees and 35 supplier partners. The group was invited to a masterful performance by Kai Kight, a contemporary composer and innovator who spoke about rewriting AV industry music and the importance of writing new music rather than playing what was written in the past.

Almo Pro A/V also used its National Sales Meeting as an opportunity to give back, both to the industry and the community. In an ongoing effort to support local nonprofit businesses, Almo's selling partners made product donations worth more than $25,000 to integrate Baltimore's efforts to provide AV technology and raise awareness of viable career paths in the Pro AV industry. In addition, Almo made a monetary donation of more than $4,000 through a corporate contribution and raffled off the money raised at the event.
