Powersoft held annual meeting of Latino distributors

Latin America. For two days, prior to the InfoComm Show in Las Vegas, Powersoft's Latin American distributors met to exchange experiences and analyze the behavior of the Latino market.

Representatives of the company, including Claudio Lastrucci, Luca Giorgi, Klas Dalbjorn, Fabrizio Romano Bolzoni, Marc Kocks, Gino Pellicano, William Ladeutt and Gilberto Morejón, sales manager for Latin America and the Caribbean, met with distributors from several countries to discuss the next steps to be taken in Latin America and present the novelties, both in software and hardware.

From Mexico, javier posada of Audio Acoustics and Electronics was present; from Guatemala were Guillermo Falla and Erick de León of SuperSonidos - distributor also in Nicaragua -; in charge of Colombia, the Caribbean and Brazil participated Jean Costa of Universal Music and Jorge Correa of River Music Pro; from Paraguay Alan Wood of AW Acoustic Design approached, and from Argentina, Carlos Maiocchi of Equaphon, a company that also distributes Powersoft in Uruguay, participated.

"This is a unique event to share experiences with the rest of the region and have first-hand information on market behavior at the regional and global level, as well as being able to have a very clear vision of the future of the company in terms of product portfolio and global strategies," said Gilberto Morejón.

During the meeting, not only the market situation was discussed, but also the evident growth of the installation market was highlighted, which makes it imperative to pay attention to this segment among distribution partners in the region.

Best Distributor Award of 2017
The opportunity was also taken to present the recognition of the Best Distributor of the Year 2017, which this time went to the Brazilian company River Music Pro. The award was received by its director, Jorge Correa.

River Music Pro began its history in the market nine years ago and is headquartered in São José do Rio Preto, within the state of São Paulo, Brazil.

River Music works together with Universal Music, Powersoft's distributor in Brazil, to promote, sell and support the Powersoft brand in the country for approximately two and a half years.

In those few years, the company managed to expand Powersoft's presence in Brazil and provide amplifiers for a wide variety of sound rental companies, which are being used in events of all kinds in all Brazilian states.

In just the last year and a half, River Music sold more than 350 Powersoft amplifiers of different models.

Gilberto highlighted: "River Music, with the help of Jorge Correa and under the watchful eye of Jean Costa, has been the big difference in Brazil for the brand. River Music's performance in the vast Brazilian territory has put Powersoft at the top of users' preference when thinking about quality and reliable audio amplification. Really something unprecedented!"

One of the novelties presented to Latin American distributors was version 3.0 of the Armonía control software, whose official release is scheduled for September.

Both the company and distributors around the world have been carrying out in the last year an exhaustive work of presentation and training on the use of this software.

Users in Latin America, a market for the moment more focused on Touring, will benefit from the new version, as it will provide special features designed in this type of application.

Powersoft is already scheduling two seminars in Brazil in August, and then traveling to Buenos Aires where two seminars will also be presented: one with the Touring line for sound company engineers and another with the Installation line where integrators will participate.

In addition, the first training activity will be held in Montevideo, Uruguay, where the entire line of Powersoft amplifiers will be presented along with the new version of Armonía.
