Leyard grows market in Latin America

Latin America. With each passing day Leyard becomes even more a reference in digital visualization projects in Latin America. Although it has been operating for more than 30 years in other regions of the globe, it was in 2014 that the brand installed its Latin American subsidiary in Curitiba, Brazil, and since then it has taken important steps towards expansion.

Leyard put into operation its second showroom in Brazil, now in São Paulo, one of the most strategic cities in the Americas. In addition, the company recently announced the installation of an office in Miami (already in soft opening), to serve Latino entrepreneurs who have the North American city as a frequent destination or prefer travel logistics to the United States.

In addition to the launch of the two new official showrooms, Leyard closed partnerships for demonstrations in Peru, Colombia and Chile. One of the agreements signed is with the company VGL, which in July became a reseller of Leyard products in Chile, with a focus on the broadcasting, corporate, urban projects and sports and cultural events markets. The similar partnership was closed in September with Cosmos Sistemas Integrados, CSI, which operates especially in the niche of control centers, in Colombia.

This phenomenon of expansion is a reflection of the strengthening of the brand also in other regions of the world. In the last four years there has been the inauguration of another manufacturing unit in Europe, in addition to the acquisition of companies with strategic experiences such as Planar and Natural Point.

"We fully believe in the strength of Latin America as a market for digital display elements. In that region, consumer companies are growing and further professionalizing their business relationships. Naturally, they go on to look for renowned brands, with a greater range of solutions and stronger contracts, with unquestionable guarantees and maintenance," stated the CEO of Leyard Brazil and Latin America, Orlando Custodio.
