Christie Brasil wins POS Growth of the Year award

Brazil. Christie's Brazilian subsidiary was awarded the Growth Partner of the Year award by TPV, a world leader in the manufacture of monitors and LCD televisions. TPV manufactures Christie LCD panels for Christie Brazil, models FHD492-XB and FHD552-XB in its Brazilian factory located in Manaus.

The award shows the recognition of the exceptional growth of sales in Brazil over the past year of Christie LCD panels manufactured by POS, as well as the work of Christie engineers, sales team, distributors and integrators throughout the country. The award was presented in Taiwan by Gawain Chang (Deputy Vice President of OBM POS) to Clayton Brito, General Manager, Christie Brazil and André Ingnez, Channel Sales Manager of Christie Brazil.

"This award is not only an indication of the success Christie is having in growing its LCD flat panel business in Brazil, it also shows Christie's ability to meet the needs of our customers and the certainty that we are on the right track. In addition, we show the market the ability of the Christie team from Brazil to quickly identify market trends, directing them to our partners and customers," said Clayton.

For his part, Juan Carlos Chávez, Director of Christie Latin America, stressed that "This award recognizes all the effort of the members of our excellent Brazilian team in offering the best possible service. We would especially like to thank our partners in Brazil for their exceptional hard work and commitment to the Christie product line. Due to their efforts, we have managed to grow year after year in the country."

Christie's success in the Brazilian control room market was strengthened through a growing number of agreements with partners, distributors and integrators, making it the largest channel network in Brazil. As Christie's customer and partner base expanded significantly over the past two years, the company also focused on Avixa-certified training programs in its office in São Paulo. These courses train partners, distributors and integrators in Christie products in various topics such as implementation, sales, pre-sales and repairs.

TPV started the manufacture of Christie LCD panels in Brazil in 2015 with local attention and support. There are more than 1000 technical assistance throughout Brazil prepared to provide repair services on the panels. These LCD panels with illuminated edges are aimed at control room and digital signage applications, where they offer a video wall experience and performance with superior quality, affordable prices and local warranty.
