UDE installed 100 projectors on its Montevideo campus

Uruguay. The academic body of the Universidad de la Empresa, UDE, is composed of several academic departments and faculties; all with different projection needs. In order to meet the specific needs of each department, increase efficiency, reduce operating costs and IT equipment hours, the UDE made the decision to equip the university with new ViewSonic projection solutions, including 100 projectors in different models: PJD5155, PJD6352LS, PJD7828HDL and Pro9510L.

Having conducted several internal studies to investigate the capabilities and lifespan of its previous projection equipment, the university's IT department concluded that ViewSonic projectors could meet all of the university's operational and academic needs.  On the other hand, ViewSonic offered him a complete option since he could provide them with equipment from the most basic (PJD5 series) for small classrooms, to high-level network projectors (PJD6 series) and Full HD resolution projectors (PJD7) and professional installation projectors (Pro).

"This new Solution from ViewSonic has allowed our IT staff to take care of other tasks," said Sebastian Alba, head of UDE's IT department. "It's incredibly satisfying to see teachers and students interact based on the high-quality images offered by ViewSonic projectors," he added.

"At ViewSonic, our priority is to offer a solution to the client that meets their needs," said Marcos Paredes, ViewSonic's territory manager for Uruguay and Paraguay. "This year one of the main focuses of the company has been the education sector and we are very pleased to have contributed to this great project of the UDE."

Currently, 96% of the UDE projectors are ViewSonic projectors, and it is in the plans to increase the percentage to 100%. Given the success of the installation, the UDE has decided to increase the implementation of NETWORK projectors of the PJD6 series, as well as add PJ-VTouch-10S interactive kits for short-range projectors.
