Essential trainings for AV professionals

Latin America. In March 2017, InfoComm International will begin its educational activities with the AV II Systems Design Course – Infrastructure, in Bogotá, Colombia, and the AV Practical Course: Cable Installation and Termination Techniques, both in Bogotá and Mexico City.

The AV II Systems Design Course – The Infrastructure, which will take place from March 16 to 18 in Bogotá, has been updated, taking into account the advancement of technology and the new developments that it presents to the different markets.

This is the second module of the three that make up the AV Systems Design course and is aimed at engineers, AV designers, end users of schools, universities, companies, banks, etc; and design managers of construction companies, integrators and architects, among others. In it, professionals will learn how to interact with other trades, lighting specification and electrical infrastructure, acoustic elements, industry codes, assembly, IT and mechanical and structural considerations.

The AV Workshop: Cable Installation and Termination Techniques, to be held in Bogotá on March 15 and in Mexico City on March 17, will be a full day of practical training on the essential skills, tools and techniques of AV installation, for field technical professionals who install AV components, pass and perform cable terminations and other installation tasks; new technical operators of the audiovisual industry and professionals who, although they have been doing these tasks for a longer time, do not have formal education in installation.
