Pride Music, new distributor of Audio-Technica in Brazil

Brazil. Audio-Technica has named São Paulo-based Pride Music as its new distributor of professional products in Brazil effective January 1, 2017. The announcement was made by Philip Cajka, President and CEO of Audio-Technica, and means that A-T continues to emphasize its expansion into Latin America through strong regional partnerships.

Founded in 1992, Pride Music specializes in supplying premium brands of professional audio equipment and musical instruments in the Brazilian market, maintaining a strong commitment in areas of service, marketing, logistics and technical support.

"Due to its import structure and general economic conditions, Brazil has been an especially challenging market for us to fully develop," Cajka said. "We are excited to begin this distribution partnership with Pride Music. Pride has a strong, experienced sales team that has shown great leadership. Together, I am confident that we can increase sales and build the A-T brand."

Lucio Grossmann, CEO of Pride Music, added: "We are honored to be named as distributors of Audio-Technica's products for the Musical Instruments and Audio Pro segments in Brazil. We believe that with Pride Music's expertise, combined with the tradition, reputation and technology offered by Audio-Technica, we will build a successful strategic alliance, providing excellent service and support to enthusiasts, fans and end users in Brazil."
