Aliat Universities installs 100 Casio projectors

Mexico. After beginning a process of renewal of the audiovisual systems in its different headquarters, Aliat Universities selected the Casio brand, of which it will use about 100 equipment, reference LampFree XJ-V. As part of its renovation, it had invested in a new WiFi network and a high-performance administrative and academic management solution.

Aliat Universidades is the most far-reaching university network in Mexico, with seven educational institutions distributed in more than 30 campuses located in 15 states of the country. Its enrollment exceeds the 50,000 students who receive the teachings of more than 3,500 teachers.

Providing sufficient and adequate technological tools to the entire community is a challenge in which different areas of Aliat Universities are involved, from the different academic departments, to ICT systems or purchasing managers. So the process of evaluation and acquisition of new equipment takes into account different factors that must meet the standards of the institution.

Among the factors fulfilled by Casio to have been selected by Aliat Universities, an attractive total cost of ownership, low maintenance cost, warranty terms, low energy consumption, efficient performance in image deployment with enough brightness to operate in illuminated rooms and sufficient connectivity options to facilitate the use of different devices and contents stand out.

A key factor is the technology developed by Casio, which uses a hybrid laser-LED light source, instead of conventional mercury lamps, resulting in a service life of more than 20 thousand hours, low energy consumption and minimal maintenance, as no filters are used and there is no need to replace lamps.

Casio's 100 LampFree projectors are already operating at the service of the Aliat Universities community on its different campuses throughout the country.
