Ikusi implements its solution in airports in Cuba

Cuba. Ecasa, a public company that operates Cuba's airports, has relied on Ikusi for the implementation of a solution that allows it to optimize the management of airport slots in the face of the growing demand for flights expected at the country's airports.

After the initial phase of data collection and characterization of Cuba's airports, the solution will soon begin to be used to coordinate the ten international airports in the country, with Havana and Varadero being the most important.

The Condor solution proposed by Ikusi is capable of ensuring an orderly management of airport slots that maximizes the operational capacity of the airport. Condor is a high-level solution that helps the specialized airport coordinators both in their seasonal planning tasks (according to the deadlines and schemes set by IATA) and in the daily management associated with airline requests and unforeseen changes that inevitably occur in daily operation.

Condor helps to coordinate, optimize, detect operational limitations, apply the necessary corrective measures to solve them and plan efficiently according to the different needs of the winter and summer seasons and the airports' own capacities, always according to the international rules and regulations of the industry.

Condor allows you to plan and monitor based on different airport resources that limit its capacity. Common resources such as runways are complemented by other limitations that Condor considers such as maximum terminal capacity per hour, berthing positions, security filters, etc. Condor also contributes to better airspace planning through its integration with the systems of ANSPs (air navigation service providers).

Ecasa, in this way, takes a leap towards the modernization of its airport management systems, improving its operational efficiency to face the important challenges that the Cuban manager will face in the coming months.
