Ended with large numbers InfoComm Show 2016

InfoComm. 1,000 exhibitors, including 211 new ones, filled the Las Vegas Convention Center between June 8 and 10, occupying 527,105 net square feet of exhibition and special events. InfoComm University sessions registered 12,000 participants throughout the week, more than double the number of attendees to the training and education program in 2015. The increase in training interest was driven in part by the 2,620 seminar and workshop packages that were offered.

"The AV industry's commitment to advancing technology and making it known  at InfoComm has never been stronger," said Jason McGraw, CTS, CAE, Vice President of Exhibitions at InfoComm International. "The market is constantly changing and we have been delighted to introduce new features at InfoComm, such as drones, the Internet of Things, content creation and streaming, which reflect the dynamic nature of commercial AV. In total, 91 percent of the space was reserved for next year, demonstrating the strong commitment of the fair's exhibitors."

InfoComm 2016 welcomed more than 38,833 visitors, up 4.8 percent from the last time the program was held in Las Vegas, affirming the continuity of its strength as the busiest annual conference and exhibition for AV buyers and sellers in the Western Hemisphere. More than 35 percent of attendees were visiting InfoComm for the first time.

"This is a thriving, growing and busy industry – especially at this time of year – and the fact that so many professionals come together in one place, including new faces and dedicated attendees, highlights the important role InfoComm Show plays in the success of their businesses and careers," said David Labuskes, CTS, RCDD, Executive Director and CEO of InfoComm International.
