Expo DataNet Andino begins

Colombia. For two days, May 4 and 5, the ICT sector of the Andean Region will meet in Bogotá at the Ninth Congress and Commercial Exhibition BICSI, now DataNet BICSI. The academic program consists of 15 activities during the two days. The same that will be energized with a commercial sample integrated by the most important brands manufacturers and distributors of equipment for computer infrastructure.

Some of the conferences are:
– Common mistakes to avoid when implementing a wireless system in buildings, by Thomas Hammond of Dali Wireless
– The impact of the Internet of Things on the infrastructure of your Data Center, by Miguel Aldama, from Siemon
– Electronic networks for automated buildings, by Germán Alexis Cortés, from Insetrón.
– Passive optical networks: the convergence of data, voice and video in corporate environments, by Alexandre Kawamura, from Furukawa.

The academic program is designed by BICSI, a professional association that supports the information and communications technology (ICT) industry and has 40 years of experience. The association serves more than 23,000 ICT professionals including designers, installers and technicians, who provide the essential infrastructure for telecommunications, audio and video, security and automation systems.

This version of the event has as its main novelty the new name that groups the traditional Andean BICSI Congress now known as DataNet BICSI Colombia, a brand that obeys the alliance made between BICSI and Latin Press for its promotion and marketing.

"It is a new name but with the same approach as always, which will continue to bring together IT directors, vice presidents and systems managers, telecommunications and network directors, data center directors and designers  , infrastructure directors and systems engineers," said Alejandra García, Project Manager of the event.

As sponsoring associations: InfoComm, Latin American Security Association (ALAS), Asotic, FTTH and Oxford Business Group. The most recent announcement is that of ftth Council, which recently joined DataNet BICSI Colombia as a sponsoring association.
