International. America's top cheerleading squads recently gathered in Dallas, Texas, for the National All-Star Cheerleading Association National Championship, with well-practiced routines performed under a large dynamic platform that included lighting and video from Elation Professional.
Dallas-based production company Gemini Light, Sound & Video (www.geminilsv.com) provided lighting and video for the event, which was nationally televised on CBS Sports.
The illustrated centerpiece of the installation was a large LED stage background display comprised of 448 Elation EPT6IP LED video panels. The screen, which served as a visual backdrop for the execution phase in which the routines were carried out, measures 58.80 ft. width x 33.60 ft. height (28 panels wide x 16 high, panels 2688 pixels x 1536 pixels).
The large LED display was used to display static images, such as NCA logos, but was also used to display introductory videos for each team and was active during breaks to display a variety of other video content, such as information clips, sponsoring loops, encouraging commercial content, and promotional videos.
Several Elation lighting fixtures were also incorporated as part of the extensive lighting package.
