Latin America. Atlona appointed Ricardo Ramos as sales engineer for Latin America (Latam). In this new role, he will be responsible for pre-sales and project support in the region and for the training of Atlona staff, business partners, direct distributors, distributors, representatives and consultants in all Atlona products and services. He will report to Esteban Pérez, Atlona's director of business development for Latin America, and will be based in Mexico City.
He will also be in charge of all Spanish support tickets from all over Latin America, as well as support to Atlona's entire international support team globally.
"We are confident that Ricardo is exceptionally qualified to lead our initiatives in Latam, Spanish-speaking training and technical support, as well as those required internationally," Said Perez. "This position will allow us to better serve this important emerging market."
Ramos has 15 years in the professional AV industry and comes to Atlona after serving as a sales, design and solutions engineer at Centro de Audio, Video y Comunicaciones.
For his part, Ramos indicated that "I am looking forward to working with the Latin American team on the various aspects of this position, from the creation of technical materials for the execution of their many training, testing and certification programs. Together we will continue to build on Atlona's success in the region."
