Regional AV installations: new and outstanding

Dear readers, it is a pleasure for me to assume from 2013 the General Edition of the magazine AVI LATINOAMÉRICA, a publication that reaches its sixth year consolidating itself as the meeting point of the new trends of the audiovisual industry in the region.

My two-year career at AVI LATINOAMERICA, first as a journalist and then as a sub-editor, has allowed me to see the process of continuous growth of the industry in the region, which has been little affected by the economic turbulence that affects industrialized countries, being today an increasingly prominent reference at the international level.

As a journalist, it is very gratifying to identify that more and more Latin American companies are investing in innovative audiovisual installations, which stand out for their size, for the integration or for the application of the available technology.

Undoubtedly, this is achieved thanks to the interest in professionalizing the industry. Every day there is a greater number of technicians and professionals who seek to be in updating and training.

In 2013 we continued with the TecnoMultimedia congress, which together with InfoComm has become a must for companies to establish themselves in the region.

This year TecnoMultimedia Mexico reaches its third version with a significant growth in the Commercial Exhibition, while the appointment in Colombia celebrates its fourth year with a continuous increase in the number of specialized attendees.

I want to leave the doors open to establish a direct dialogue on all topics related to the audiovisual industry and analyze them through our different channels: the magazine, the web and our webcast. I look forward to your comments in [email protected]
