Times of definitive changes

Dear friends, the last version of InfoComm left a lot to think about. The winds that blow in technological matters are quite interesting, which makes us believe that we are entering an era of definitive changes.

It is important to note that LED lighting continues to show an important consolidation, both in terms of its illuminative capacity and in what it has to do with the formation of screens, a method increasingly used in the segment of digital signage and advertising.

It seems that the great advances come from the hand of the video, because each time smaller and more robust projectors appear within a segment that continues to compete strongly with that of Plasma and LCD screens, which among themselves maintain a battle that is far from settled, although everything shows as winners those who opted for the last modality.

Those who are still developing Plasma screens do not give up and have been offering larger sizes and better resolutions, their eternal battle cry. The "plasmeros" have announced improvements in their technology, which would prevent the combustion of pixels, an element that made them lose a lot of market.

The advent of touch and interactive screen technologies is still shocking. It is a reality that in a short time it will be common to transfer data and content from the imagination to the screens, because already, with a simple marker, we can edit calculation tables and make special signs on the same screen.

In audio we can not ignore the advantages that have been exhibited in terms of portability and the ability to integrate with wireless networks, in addition to security algorithms, so that they can not hear what is spoken by a certain channel. The slogan is to enter more directly into the field of new information technologies, without neglecting high definition.

It seems that education and the residential sector will be the great pampered of the coming years, and those that will capture the benefits of a greater investment in R & D. Latin America seems to be well installed to adopt the changes that are coming, so for the moment I remain quite calm, and eager to see the arrival of such developments.
