AV trends for the coming years

In an industry like AV, in which every day there are new equipment and systems, it is important to be clear about what the trends are and thus be able to make integrations that are up to the needs of users and in accordance with the latest technology.

Some of the trends that are expected for the coming years, compiled by the e-book Audiovisual Professional: Main trends for the following 5 years, published by the TecnoMultimedia InfoComm fairs, are:

● Software x hardware: software takes the place of hardware giving priority to the immersive experience and not only in the solution of a problem, as was done previously.
● Quality x price: in countries such as Mexico, the market follows the trajectory with a focus on the attractiveness of quality in relation to price, since the economy of these countries is in the maturation phase, looking for more quality of their products and services.
● Laser technology: In the projection industry, some important advances have been the development and adoption of laser technology and greater adherence to 4K, since they demand less concern about service life and maintenance.
● Mobile: Smart devices connected and operated by voice commands, such as Google's OK, will lead to a revolution in people's interaction with complex technologies.
● Internet of Things: it should be the next technology to gain traction for the next five years, which will act as a 'glue' to join other tools in development, particularly at home and in the car.

And is your company ready to face the new AV trends?
