Bose launched L1 Pro, new family of portable systems

bose l1 proLatin America. Bose Professional introduced its new family of Bose L1 Pro linear array portable systems, the next step in the development of a PA category invented by Bose 17 years ago with the launch of the original L1 model.

The L1 Pro systems mark the beginning of a new era for singers and solo musicians, DJs on the move and bands of all genres that require using audio equipment to sound the most diverse places. The three new models of the L1 Pro line (L1 Pro8, L1 Pro16 and L1 Pro32, with the option of two subwoofers), offer the renowned 180° horizontal coverage with unparalleled tonal balance and clarity.

The unique RaceTrack woofer design, integrated into the L1 Pro8, L1 Pro16 and Bose Sub1 and Sub2 modular subwoofers, provides extended base response in a smaller piece of equipment, making it easier to transport, assemble and reduce the space it occupies on stage. Integrated multi-channel mixers offer equalization, reverb and phantom power, Bluetooth® connectivity, and access to the full library of custom ToneMatch equalization presets, allowing performers to play in the tonal quality of a recording studio.

These three new portable sound systems are designed to offer diverse options to artists, adapt to different styles and audiences, and provide an impressive solution for creators who take up live performances and seek to deliver listening experiences from outdoor venues and online platforms around the world.

The ultra-portable L1 Pro8 model provides a perfect solution for intimate spaces and small groups; The L1 Pro16 model, portable and with high bass performance, is ideal for small to medium spaces, while the L1 Pro32 model offers high performance in an unparalleled portable system for large audiences. Thanks to a modular design, the L1 Pros are easy to pack, move and configure, and this new generation provides a truly amazing size-performance ratio.

Bose L1 Pro handheld systems are complemented by the L1 Mix app, available for Android and IOS, putting complete wireless control in the hands of users to make immediate adjustments through intuitive and instant controls. Musicians or DJs can control the mixer settings via smartphone or tablet from the stage, or even walk around the venue, hear how the mix sounds and adjust it immediately. The tone and volume settings can also be changed in the app, and users will watch as the LED move to match; the mixer and the application are always synchronized in real time.

L1 Pro8: ultra-portable with wide coverage
The L1 Pro8 is incredibly portable and weighs just 17.7kg. It's an ideal companion for shows in small spaces, such as bars and cafes, and its slim, eye-pleasing design allows artists to take advantage of the simplicity of its installation and superior clarity. As the most portable L1 Pro system, the L1 Pro8 makes it easy to get from a vehicle's trunk to the stage in a single trip.

The "C" shaped inline array features eight 2" articulated neodymium drivers; 180° horizontal coverage with wide vertical dispersion, allowing the audience to hear clearly, whether they are sitting or standing, and even if they are located at the ends of small to medium places.
The 7" × 13" subwoofer uses a high-displacement, high-performance RaceTrack driver that competes with a conventional 38.1 cm woofer, with a smaller size.

L1 Pro16: versáti l coverage
The L1 Pro16 deftly balances power and portability, offering an optimized system with extended high and low frequency output. Weighing in at just 24.4kg, it's the perfect choice for DJs, singer-songwriters and small groups performing in small or medium-sized clubs and bars. Users will have a portable system that optimizes the available space, both in their vehicle and on stage, in addition to providing extended bandwidth.

J-shaped inline arrangement with 16 2" articulated neodymium drivers, 180° horizontal coverage, adjusted vertical control at the top, wide dispersion at the bottom to cover the audience, whether at floor level or on an elevated stage, and even at the ends of medium to large places.
10" × 18" subwoofer with high-displacement neodymium RaceTrack driver and performance that rivals a conventional 15" woofer, but with smaller size.

L1 Pro32: Uniform coverage
The maximum level of a portable sound equipment for public spaces is the L1 Pro32, which is the most advanced portable online arrangement system of the L1 family so far, weighing only 13 kg. The Sub1 and Sub2 modular subwoofers weigh 16.1 kg. and 23.4 kg. respectively, which means that even this high-performance model is powerful and portable. With supreme clarity and output, the L1 Pro32 gives DJs, singers and bands an unmatched portable PA system with powerful bass for medium to large venues and events, such as weddings and outdoor festivals.

Straight-line arrangement with 32 2" articulated neodymium drivers, 180° horizontal coverage with the most focused vertical coverage pattern and the highest remote SPL on an L1 yet, delivering intricate sonic detail, clarity and consistency, even at the ends of larger locations.
It is combined with the Bose Sub1 or Sub2 active bass module via a single-wire SubMatch connection for power and audio.
It is possible to mount two Sub1 or Sub2 subwoofers to get even more bass or activate the cardiode mode to achieve a centered and directional performance that cancels out the power of the rear output bass, it is enough to direct the bass to the front to decrease the feedback.

At the rear, each L1 Pro system features an integrated mixer for musicians and technicians to easily connect various instruments, microphones and other sources. The mixer includes two XLR-1/4" combination inputs with phantom power and 1/4" and 1/8" (3.5 mm) auxiliary inputs. In addition, illuminated rotary controls provide instant access to volume, tone, and reverb settings per channel. Additional instruments and audio sources can even be added via a dedicated ToneMatch port, a cable provides both power supply and digital audio signal between the system and an optional Bose T4S or T8S console (sold separately).

The L1 Pro8 model will be the first to be available globally in October.
