Latin America. Thanks to IP solutions, the fact that its products do what they promise to do and that the equipment is developed to work with low internet coverage, the Haivision company has grown a lot in the last year in Latin America.
Abel Honigsblum, Director of Sales for Latin America at Haivision, told AVI LATINOAMÉRICA that since he arrived at the company he changed the relationship strategy with his partners, helped by the new technology that the company has developed.
"What I want is to show my partners in the region the strength that each one has, to make them see that they are not competition and that they can work together, being much stronger. It has not been an easy process but today I am managing to make a team between Haivision and each brand, uniting their strengths," he said.
Today Haivision has partners in Mexico with Novotech, in Argentina with Convergencia DS, in Brazil there are five, in Peru one and Chile another, and will soon close negotiations in Colombia. The idea is that each one has communication with the entire network in the region and can share technical and commercial experiences and, if necessary, jointly serve customers who have a regional presence. At InfoComm Show 2016, some of them started those relationships.
Among Haivision's most widely used products in the Latin audiovisual industry are cool sign for digital signage, Makito for streaming and Calypso for recording and streaming video.
