Colombia. Last June, the announcement was made of the new venue that the city of Bogotá will have for live events and sports, which will replace the El Campín stadium, the main stage of the Colombian capital. This week the companies that will intervene in the work, which will take about 3.5 years to build, were known.
ERG International Group, the UK engineering firm, was appointed as the EPC contractor for the project, in addition to other strategic partners who will be involved in the work. Among them are:
· Mace (UK): Specialists in high-profile stadiums such as Tottenham Hotspur and London's Olympic Stadium.
· BDP Pattern (Global): Designers of the Qatar 2022 World Cup stadiums and Google headquarters facilities.
· WSP (Canada): Recognized for its structural engineering, including the Mercedes Benz Stadium.
· Arquitorium (Colombia): The acoustic experts behind the MedPlus Coliseum will be ideal for the planned philharmonic auditorium.
· Yuksel (Turkey): Leaders in infrastructure in the Middle East and Central Asia, including NATO airport projects.
· Inarco (Chile-Peru): Regional leaders in the development of shopping centers for brands such as Cencosud.
