Dante Clara E Card Makes it easy to send audio signals over a network

Dante Clara E

Latin America. The distributor Synthax announced the availability in Latin America of the new card for sending signals through the network through Dante, called Clara E and manufactured by the German company Marian.

This card allows up to 512 bi-directional channels, connection over long distances via low-cost network infrastructure and cables, sample rates up to 192 kHz, automatic configuration. Unlike virtual solutions, Clara E offers the security of redundancy with 2 separate network ports and latencies of up to 1 ms in combination with the reliable PCIe interface.

The controller includes multi-client support for ASIO 2.2 as well as multi-channel/WASAPI WDM audio with the lowest latencies in all software environments. This ensures that multiple audio applications can access the sound system simultaneously through the same or different driver interfaces.

Each input signal of the sound system can be adjusted in volume and sent without latency to any output. The BEAST DSP mixer also aggregates up to 64 signals on 8 different buses and plays them back to any number of outputs without delay. In addition, BEAST Mixer adds playback signals from any DAW. All sums of mixes can be sent to an app for recording. On each channel of the BEAST mixer there are 4 parametric EQs available for sound processing.

It features an optional plug-in module that serves as a bridge to classic audio formats and extends the Clara E with AES/EBU, ADAT or analog interfaces. In routing and in the Beast Mixer, signals from these interfaces are also available and can therefore be integrated into the Dante network.

If multiple Clara E is installed on a computer, they are synchronized via the TDM SyncBus and appear as a combined sound system for an ASIO application. Up to 32 audio signals can be exchanged with other Clara sound systems (e.g. Clara Dmaj) in the Beast Mixer and thus also integrated for use with ASIO.
