Brazil. Two of Brazil's leading cinema chains, Multicine Cinemas and Cine Gracher, are adopting the Cinema Rental program to procure Christie RGB pure laser projectors for their new multiplexes and replace lamp-based projection systems.
The Christie Cinema Rental Program, in partnership with OrionPC, offers exhibitors in Brazil the option to purchase Christie's latest pure RGB laser projection technology through a service model, at a fraction of the purchase cost of the new equipment. OrionPC finances, installs, maintains, and repairs the equipment using highly trained technicians for the duration of the contract. This will allow cinema operators more time to manage and grow their businesses with the confidence of knowing that their screens will always shine with Christie's latest pure RGB laser projectors.
Multicine Cinemas, a Brazilian cinema chain with 60 screens across the country, has equipped its new multiplex in the Itaguaçu shopping centre in São José with four Christie CP2415-RGB projectors. The new multiplex has a capacity of 612 seats spread over its four screens. The company plans to continue making use of the Cinema Rental Program for its upcoming openings.

Cine Gracher, founded in 1915 and with nearly 40 screens in the states of Santa Catarina, Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul, has replaced several lamp projectors in two of its theaters with Christie CP2309-RGB models, with plans to make further updates in the coming months.

With Christie's Rental Program in Brazil, exhibitors of all sizes can realize greater savings with pure RGB laser projectors compared to lamp-based models, and smaller exhibitors can benefit from inexpensive government-sponsored programs, such as RECINE, with minimal administrative effort. Brazil-based exhibitors can use Christie's Rental Program with a simple and easy turnkey contract that can scale at the speed of their operations.
