Latin America. AVIXA has partnered with the Digital Signage Federation (DSF) to bring digital signage educational content to the association's fairs and events. AVIXA will announce details later this month about the events DSF will bring its content to.
The Digital Signage Federation is a non-profit organization that supports digital signage professionals through education, certification, networking, and additional advocacy.
Digital signage is one of the fastest growing AV solutions. It is expected to grow from $31 billion in 2020 to $42.7 billion in 2025, a compound annual growth rate of 7.5%, according to AVIXA's AV Industry Trend and Outlook Analysis (IOTA) 2020. This is due to the increasing demand for on-premise and off-site communications, especially to support new health and safety protocols.

The collaboration between AVIXA and DSF will help bridge the gap created for the digital signage community by the unfortunate news about the dissolution of Exponation, which produced the Digital Signage Expo (DSE). AVIXA and the newly formed DSF association demonstrate the commitments of both organizations to support digital signage professionals and the larger channel that serves them.
AVIXA will expand the options for DSE 2020 exhibitors to use a maximum of 25% of their lost deposits for an AVIXA event with up to 100% accredited across the entire event portfolio until the end of 2021. In addition, individuals who made upfront payments for DSE registration and conferences at trade shows can apply those deposit dollars as credits for the InfoComm 2021 educational program.

"While we clearly cannot reimburse these lost pocket funds for DSE exhibitors and registrants, we can certainly offer the value of our platform at a discount to help the industry on its road to recovery."
