Alfredo Cano, Product Manager of Casio in Mexico, explained that with their projectors of the Ecolite line and having no lamp, they provide good options for emerging economies such as Mexico. He maintains that with a projector of this company, an educational institution can save up to 20 thousand Mexican pesos in five years.
"The savings are derived from not using a lamp, so it is not spent on replacement or on the final disposal required to contain mercury. It is not spent on maintenance because they only require a cloth to clean them, a lower energy consumption by not having high power fans to cool the lamps. In total, the savings are 46% compared to a projector with a lamp. And if that saving per projector is multiplied by 100 or 200 or the number of projectors that a school can have, or much more if it is a government, it is a very significant saving, "he said.
To meet its goal of penetration of the education market, the company is currently making its projectors known under these technologies to local governments and schools, promoting a change in education and making classes more interactive and participatory taking advantage of the benefits of projectors.
"Our equipment had a significant drop in price, which has been a great benefit that schools are taking advantage of in Mexico, equally in public and private institutions," concluded Alfredo Cano.
