Icap, the first Latino company to join GPA

InfoComm. During InfoComm Show, the entry of the Argentine company Icap into the Global Presence Alliance, GPA, was made official, thus being the first Latino company to belong to this association.

GPA said in a statement that its board members were impressed with Icap's industry leadership and outlook, being a key player in the region for global customers, and, in particular, for its vision and positioning for the future of an integrated IT-AV world.

Byron Quedaos, Chairman of the Board of GPA, commented that "Latin America is an increasingly important area in the global economy and the example for our partners, suppliers and customers. Icap brings decades of experience in Argentina and neighboring countries, complex regions in which doing business local knowledge is critical. From our introductory conversations, it was clear that Icap understood GPA's value proposition and they are a strong cultural fit for the group."

Icap CEO Martin Saul said: "We are proud to be part of the GPA, and we look forward to adding value to our experience in AV integration in Latin America. Success in integrating a global project also requires knowledge and understanding of different cultures like ours to deliver consistent and standardized solutions. We hope to be up to the task of the companies that make up this organization."
