Mexico. Due to the innovation involved in the installation of the digital signage screen on the outskirts of the BBVA Bancomer bank, its size, its shape and its technical conditions, Kolo Digital Signage received the Digital Screen Media Awards 2013.
The Digital Screen Media Association, also known as DSA, holds this contest every year, where it recognizes the best in digital signage around the world. As part of the symposium offered by Screenmedia, in mid-May, Kolo was announced as the winner of the "Best Financial Services Deployment" category.
The project consisted of the development of an LED screen that would cover the entire exterior wall of the bank where bbva Bancomer's new ATMs and practices are located. The screen has dimensions more than 27 meters long by 2.5 meters high.
To achieve this, Kolo required five days of assembly for a screen that has the capacity to operate 24 hours a day and that has a 14-channel sound system, remote access, 4K image projection, 1.8 million LEDs, 381 trillion colors, among other features.
One of the factors that stand out from this project is that the practices and ATMs are sharing the screen area; In addition, 15 of the total 27 meters of the wall to be covered are a curve that involved a custom manufacture and a specialized facility that met the security requirements of the bank.
