Latin America. The SAVe initiative, which promotes sustainability in the audiovisual industry, held its first global conference, which brought together ambassador members and AV companies that promote the initiative from different countries.
The meeting, which was held in Los Angeles, was led by Christina De Bono, founder and president of SAVe and Joe Perez, co-founder and chief technology officer of ClearTech AV.
For two days, the Global Conference analyzed key issues such as bringing sustainability to the audiovisual sector, the control of audiovisual e-waste, the invisible footprint of audiovisual systems, and the application of the Sustainable Development Goals to 2030 established by the UN, SAVe certification, among others.
Latin America was present on this day. Some of SAVe's ambassadors for the region, such as Juan Carlos Medina from Mexico, from the company Viewhaus, as well as Carolina Sosa and Juan Carlos Gutiérrez from Colombia, from the company Integración AV, attended and participated as panelists in some of the sessions.
Undoubtedly, this first global meeting of SAVe, with its welcome and participation of professionals from different countries and areas of the industry, confirms the interest of the professional audiovisual world in generating policies that promote sustainability within audiovisual solutions, something that began several years ago but that in the last two years has gained great momentum. marked by SAVe.
