The Temple House is an AV immersion canvas

International. There are venues that use AV to mark their event presentations, and then there's Miami Beach's The Temple House & United Projection event room. Depending on the corporate event or wedding, the bare white interior can be transformed into a rose-adorned forest, or an endless temple with columns, or anything else your enveloping AV system can project onto the high walls and ceiling.

"About 18 months ago, a client requested a complete 360-degree ceiling and wall projection mapping for their private birthday party. We had turned to an outside contractor for the projection mapping component and the event guests were 100% committed to the fully immersive environment. The response we received was overwhelmingly positive, so we decided to develop a permanent facility."

Datapath's Fx4s sit at the heart of the system, providing the processing power behind the stunning display canvases. Daniel Davidson added: "We are big fans of using Datapath hardware. The Fx4 is a proven and reliable kit that delivers the power and reliability for us to be creative in our own unique way."

Davidson also explained how The Temple House's unique 14-projector system provides 360-degree video and still images across all walls and ceilings. The software system uses professional-grade mapping and proprietary software to integrate content mapping, mixing and activation software, as well as a hardware and software component for signal splitting and content distribution.

Once the system is installed correctly, the customer needs to hire a company to provide content. Davidson and his team traveled the world, traveling to major AV fairs, looking for the most advanced technology. "After reviewing all possible options, Datapath was the clear winner with the best technology at a very fair price," he said.

Using this advanced technology, The Temple House can "take our customers to the Eiffel Tower to make a French pastry shop, to the center of the coliseum in Rome for a plate of pasta, or underwater to swim alongside tropical fish, all over the course of just a few minutes," Davidson concluded. "There is no limit to what we can do."
