Latin America. Sony introduced the VPL-FHZ57, its new 3LCD laser projector, which is the successor to the successful 3LCD VPL-FHZ55 laser light source projector, a pioneer in the world. Sony's laser projector technology continues to evolve with the VPL-FHZ57, which will replace the revolutionary VPL-FHZ55.
With its 4100 lumens of color brightness, the new VPL-FHZ57 is designed to adapt seamlessly to almost any environment: from academic, corporate or medical institutions to visiting spaces.
The new model offers WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200), bright and crisp clear presentations in any lighting condition, edge fusion, wide vertical/horizontal lens displacement range, a variety of energy-saving settings and up to 20,000 hours of virtually maintenance-free operation. The VPL-FHZ57 also offers integration flexibility, allowing the projector to be placed freely at any angle, sideways or even upside down.
Thanks to Sony's BrightEra™ 3LCD laser light source technology, the VPL-FHZ57 incorporates all the advantages of brightly coloured 3LCD technology with a long-lived laser light source, simplifying operations and virtually eliminating maintenance compared to conventional lamp-based projection. The 20,000 hours of operation of the light source translate into considerable savings in time and money, reducing the resources and costs normally associated with replacing lamps.
An optional attachable HDBaseT card will be available for the VPL-FHZ57, facilitating connectivity and reducing total system costs thanks to its reduced use of cables, signal extenders and receivers, and reducing the risk of points of failure.

In addition, Sony has expanded its popular range of C-series installation projectors with the launch of the new VPL-CH370 WUXGA, which offers 5000 lumens and wireless connection to expand connectivity options and bring ease of use, reliability and low total cost of ownership to large classrooms and meeting rooms.
