Mexico. For the expansion of the international chain of lounge restaurants Buddha Bar, in which music is a fundamental part of the atmosphere, they have used Meyer Soundamplifiers.
At number 13 of the chain, which was opened in Mexico City, they achieved a robust reproduction for the lounge area, so they deployed 15 UP-4XP speakers in stereo areas, with support for bass of five M1D-Sub subwoofers.
For the terrace area, where music must compete with street sounds without being intrusive, the design features 24 MM-4XP self-powered miniature speakers augmented by nine MM-10 miniature subwoofers.
A complement of six MPS-488 units supply DC power and signal distribution, while the overall equalization of the system is handled by a speaker management system with a Galileo 616 processor. Francisco Cobos, owner of Audiopro, was in charge of the installation of the sound in the restaurant in Mexico City.
For his part, Eduardo López, operations manager of Buddha Bar Mexico, said that "with the Meyer Sound system the quality of the musical reproduction is really impressive, enhances the atmosphere of the restaurant and keeps customers happy."
Sanctuary in Dubai and Little Buddha Café in Sharm El Sheik, Egypt, are also customer service businesses that feature Meyer Sound amplification systems and are part of the George V Entertainment group, owner of the Buddha Bar.
