International. Of the 17,600 visitors who attended cedia Expo in Indianapolis, USA, this year, 25% were people who attended for the first time. 83 of the 444 exhibitors also premiered at the 2011 show.
"The information received from the attendees was positive and energetic," said Utz Baldwin, CEO of CEDIA. "According to the CEDIA Benchmarking Survey, "the electronic systems of contractor companies are increasingly profitable and, judging by the data and traffic at the 2011 fair, next year seems to be one of remarkable growth and expansion."
The voices of satisfaction in the exhibitors were also felt, "CEDIA Expo once again impacted me, and exceeded the expectation," said Jim McGall, sales director of Wolf Cinema. "It is with great enthusiasm that I see the success of the 2011 show and it allows me to glimpse the good future that the A/V industry has," he added.
Leo Cothros, representative of Global AV Network, pointed out that "it is a very competent fair that as usual has had enormous human trafficking, but above all, quality people who facilitate the business opportunity."
"We have to thank the people of CEDIA for doing a good job and a great show," said Francisco González, one of the representatives of Klipsch Grupo.
CEDIA EXPO 2012 will be held again at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis from September 6-9.
