USA USA AC energy management solutions provider Panamax/Furman was selected into savant's AV Excellence program, a designer and manufacturer of a complete suite of solutions for media and home automation. As part of the program, the Panamax M7500-PRO, MB1000, Furman F1000-UPS and PFPower M1500-UPS-PFP electrical control systems will allow the installation of Savant automation systems via an RS-232 port. The program, which already has several dozen enrollees, seeks to consolidate relationships with the best manufacturers of audio, video, lighting control, CVAC, security and other components, devices and subsystems in many markets. A strategic relationship with Savant facilitates the operation of the manufacturer's products in a Savant systems environment. It contains a programmable open platform that supports UDP/IP, TCP/IP, RS-232/422/485. It is also equipped with IR serial communications and low-voltage activation outputs.
