This and the need to assume a broader identity that covered its wide range of solutions and global capabilities for the audiovisual market, led to the archiving of the name CSAV, which stood for Chief Sanus Audio Visual, emerged from the merger in 2004 of Chief Manufacturing and Sanus Systems. The name of the main subsidiary CSAV, Inc., however, will remain unchanged for the time being. Suppliers and customers can continue to do business with the company without changes.
