With an impressive array of 68 distinct entertainment lounges, from cozy piano bars to a stately Broadway-style theater, Icon of the Seas sets a new standard for in-flight entertainment.
Control AV, with offices in the United States, Finland, Spain and Colombia, joined its team of engineers from around the world to deliver state-of-the-art audiovisual and lighting systems. This collaborative effort took nearly five years to bring Royal Caribbean's and designers' concept designs to life, merging art and science to create an immersive and unforgettable experience for passengers.
A notable innovation is the introduction of the innovative L-acoustics L-ISA acoustics system in the ship's theatre, which elevates the acoustic experience to unprecedented levels at sea. This state-of-the-art technology offers visitors a level of immersion only found in the best land-based entertainment venues.
In addition, Control AV used DAS Audio's systems, which are strategically installed on all open decks, ensuring exceptional sound quality and coverage.
