Colombia. NTT DATA Colombia is looking for the best entrepreneurial project whose proposal is based on high-impact, innovative, scalable, sustainable technologies that contribute to improving the quality of life and / or solve environmental problems.

Participants in the eAwards Colombia 2022 will have the opportunity to compete for a prize of 40 million pesos and will have access to an acceleration program of i-deals, a company of the NTT Data Group specialized in technological entrepreneurship. Likewise, the Colombian winner will represent the country in the global competition that will be held in Spain and whose prize will be an additional 60 thousand euros.
For the 21st edition, 15 countries will participate, among which is Colombia in addition to Spain, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Holland, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, United Kingdom, Romania and Switzerland.
Colombian talent has always had an outstanding participation in the eAwards. In 2020 it won the highest award with the project "Arkangel AI", an artificial intelligence software for the early detection of preventable diseases that today has the main pharmaceutical laboratories and health care entities among its customers. For its part, "Green Face", a project for the use of disposable, antiviral and ecological masks, was among the first finalists of the 2021 global contest.
Laura Velásquez, president and co-founder of Arkangel.AI comments that "participating in the eAwards, gave us great visibility, access to a very valuable network and resources to improve the runway of the project. In our case, the award helped us improve the product and validate the market faster to generate greater value and profit. Since 2020 we have grown more than 130% in terms of partnerships, improvement of methodology and technology. We have a patent in 5 countries and contracts in countries like Spain and the UK."
Throughout these 21 years of promoting entrepreneurship and innovation, the NTT DATA Foundation has received and supported more than 9,000 projects from around the world. The final will be held in October in Madrid, within the framework of the NTT DATA Talent Week, a week in which international entrepreneurs who are changing the world will meet and in which the Foundation makes available to the ecosystem different tools, methodologies and contacts with investors and experts to respond to specific needs of their ideas, projects and startups.
