Colombia. More than 60 audio professionals and technicians participated in the RF training that Sennheiser and one of its distributors in Colombia, Era Electrónica, gave in Medellín.
At the headquarters of the local channel Telemedellín, engineer Julio Bracho, sales director for Latin America at Sennheiser, was in charge of the training, in which basic concepts about radio frequency and microphones were explained.
The commercial director of Era Electrónica, Boris Díaz, told AVI LATINOAMÉRICA that, in addition to being very pleased by the response of the attendees to this training, this type of events are the new approach that the company wants to give as an added value to its customers, hand in hand with the manufacturers it represents.
Mauricio Diz, Sales Manager for Latin America at Sennheiser, who was also present at the event, told AVI LATINOAMÉRICA that from the middle of the year 2019 they began working with Era Electrónica, mainly for their broadcast and live audio lines.
"This is an event that we do throughout Latin America, it is not a product event, it is a certification on RF in which we talk about the entire theoretical part of wireless microphones. The idea is that people understand what it is, how it is used, know the quality they need from wireless. We seek to download a lot of information to the user," he said.
On the market for Sennheiser in Colombia, Mauricio Diz said that this year they have developed a strong work to recover the positioning in the market that they have historically had.
