The new line of ELAN IP amplifiers enable an enhancement of the home audio experience, delivering audio over existing networks, with a Dante system that adds flexibility and reduces installation costs for multi-room audio projects.
The audio-over-IP line, which includes multi-channel amplifiers and locally sourced preamps, leverages the Dante digital audio network. Audio is delivered between devices over the network, replacing expensive analog wiring with a low-cost category cable.
Multi-zone audio distribution traditionally requires long speaker cables, adding to the need to incorporate audio from streaming set-top boxes, such as Apple TV or Roku, into the whole-house audio system. With this audio over IP solution, audio installations are simplified and decentralized without cables.
