Datapath added new developments to its WallControl 10 video management software, expanding the scope of KVM control for computers and offering mobile control over the same IP network via web interface, thus bringing considerable benefits to end users.
The v1.9 version of WallControl 10 for the first time allows the control of the browser-based videowall, automatic scaling to any type of PC, tablet or smartphone, and allows you to discover and connect to the videowall available on a server, as well as open and close design files with one click.
Video walls can also be created to be managed on an IP network or not, ensuring greater control and security. For example, a receptionist or department manager may change content on a screen from her smartphone, but key content from other video walls would not be accessible.
Another new feature is the ability to control the font's keyboard, video, and mouse (KVM). With Datapath Agent software, carrier-free source computers can be accessed, allowing AV or IT managers the ability to control and manipulate sources from their workstations.
