Latin America. During the last year, the Nortek company has been transformed, changed from being an American security and control company with international operations, to be, by corporate decision, to be a global company with a global focus, which means great changes to understand what is happening in the market.
"That approach was first presented to the market at the last version of the ISE fair in Amsterdam. We were able to show with actions the things we are doing and the programs we are developing to all our customers and it was very well received by them," Horacio Morales, Nortek's director of international sales, told AVI LATINOAMÉRICA.
In this new approach of the company, three territories were defined to develop the market and one of them is Latin America, of which they maintain that it is the one with the greatest opportunities for growth. To this end, the team that serves Latin America has grown, not only from the sales area, but also from the technical service and customer service.
"Previously we had products that were sold for Latin America and sometimes had to be modified. One of the things we are doing is creating a new Nortek platform, in which all the solutions work and communicate with each other," said Horacio Morales.
The company's new approach also aims to offer its customers complete solutions, rather than boxes, working hand in hand with architects and builders. They are taking technology to another level with each of the brands that are part of the group.
