Datapath launched new VSN processors for video wall

Latin America. Datapath has introduced two new high-end video wall processors to meet the demand for today's high-resolution video applications and demand.

The VSN992 and VSN1192, which will be shown for the first time at the Datapath booth at ISE 2019, are the most powerful video wall processors available on the market, equipped with dual Intel E5 processors to deliver unparalleled power with VSN's proven Datapath reliability.

Datapath's VSN systems are used by governments and organizations around the world, in industries ranging from defense and network security to utilities. The addition of two Intel Xeon E5 processors now offers a speed of 2.3GHz, 8 cores and a cache of 20MB. Memory options are the highest in the Datapath range: up to 128 GB.

The latest generation of the VSN992 features a nine-slot backplane, and the VSN1192 with a capacity of 11 slots. Both subsequent drawings have been designed by Datapath engineers to ensure stability and operating temperature, along with all the processing and connectivity required for today's high-impact control rooms.

Both new models feature dual redundant power supplies and 240GB SSDs configured for dual RAID as standard, with the option to upgrade to 480GB, along with dual LAN ports and an RS-232 interface.

Along with Datapath's latest generation of video wall controllers, visitors to its ISE booth will also see how Quant software integrates seamlessly with video wall management. Quant allows users to instantly transmit applications and data to and from video walls, as well as other users on the same network who then have KVM capabilities to interact with content, which is vital for mission-critical operation. There will also be demonstrations of Datapath's latest WallControl software, which is now available as an add-on to work in tandem with leading VMS security software.
