Hall Research introduces the compact 1U cross-point HSM-88-4K video switch to address the need for affordable professional-quality 8x8 video matrix switches, which supports HDMI resolutions up to 4K and also supports HDCP 2.2, deep color video, PCM, Dolby, DTS, and HD audio standards.
Users can save multiple video routing settings as presets. The equipment has a two-line LCD screen on its front panel to show the current video routing and to facilitate the creation or recovery of settings.
All input and output buttons are backlit and users can initiate links starting with the input or output buttons for added flexibility. Individual video outputs can also be erased, a feature that can be useful for some presentations.
The intuitive design of the HSM-88-4K also extends to its set of control commands that are used to monitor and control all aspects of the product's function. Both IP/Telnet and RS-232 ports are included. The array is also shipped with an IR remote that can be used to route video.
The HSM-88-4K is ideal for conference rooms, multimedia presentations, digital signage, places of worship and many other applications.
