Extron introduces the IN1804 series of compact four-input scalers with advanced scaling, switching, and video integration features, including logo insertion, still image retrieval, and more, with the performance and flexibility for demanding presentation environments.
These devices support HDMI 2.0b data rates of up to 18 Gbps and incorporate Extron's exclusive Vector 4K scale engine with 4:4:4 chroma sampling and 30-bit internal video processing for the best image quality.
The two models in the series offer signal extension over shielded twisted pair cable. The IN1804 DI includes a DTP2 input that can receive signals from DTP and DTP2 remote transmitters mounted on a conference table, lectern or wall. The IN1804 DO has a DTP2 output that can send signals to a DTP or DTP2 receiver mounted behind a flat panel, above a ceiling-mounted projector, or in other remote locations.
In addition to supporting DTP terminals, they can be integrated into an XTP CrossPoint matrix system. An IN1804 DI in a room can connect to an XTP CrossPoint in a rack or central equipment cabinet to receive shared AV resources, or a connected DO IN1804 can distribute a local presentation to multiple destinations in a facility.
