Latin America. In recent months, the company AVITech Plus has added new brands that strengthen its portfolio of professional AV products, both for the commercial and residential sectors in Latin America.
Melba Proctor, founder of AVITECH Plus, told AVI LATINOAMÉRICA about the new brands that complement its offer, such as AVPro Edge, a new name adopted by the company known in the market as AVProConnect, which AVITECH Plus represents for the entire region.
This company includes products such as extenders, distribution amplifiers, dies, climbers, among others; for both the residential and commercial audio video markets. In addition, it offers Murideo brand tools, which facilitate the work of integrators and provide a 10-year warranty on all its products.
"The direction of AVITECH Plus is to continue providing solutions to customers in Latin America. When your needs are not within our portfolio, we look for ways to facilitate the solution. Our customers in the region are mainly concentrated in integrators and merchants," said Melba Proctor.
In addition to AVPro Edge, AVITECH Plus recently assumed region-wide representation of Vutec's projection screens. The company has also had very good results with the distribution of AVT economic projection screens.
Finally, Melba Proctor highlighted that after the death of the founder of Vutec in December 2017, she returned to the company, where she had worked for 13 years, to assume as vice president of sales and operations. But he clarified that AVITECH Plus is still present in the Latin market with its two segments: projection screens and connectivity equipment.
