Bolivia. Oruro is a Bolivian municipality, capital of the department of Oruro, located north of La Paz. For the celebration of its 411 years of foundation, one of the activities was the traditional serenade with the participation of different musical groups on a stage mounted on Avenida 6 de Agosto and Aroma.
There were bands such as La Noche de ritmo tropical, the rock group Octavia, the groups Llajtaymanta, Doble Vía, 100% Yara, Banda Central Cocani, Sumajta in Bolivia, Jatari Bolivia, Graciel Méndez, representing the music of national folklore, as well as Sin Ley and Tacuba, in addition to the tribute to cumbia with the presence of David Castro, Jorge Eduardo, Miguel Orias, José Luis Cordoba and Mónica Ergueta.
The musical event was witnessed by approximately 20,000 people and the sound was in charge of the company DASS Sonido of the city of La Paz, which used a combination of X8 and K20 amplifiers from Powersoft to power the sound system.
The eight Powersoft X8 and nine K20 were working with an array made up of EAW KF760 components, all controlled using Yamaha M7CL and Avid SC48 consoles.
