Argentina. G7 Producción was founded in 2010. It is based in Vicente López, Buenos Aires, and is directed by Germán and Gerardo Vinante. He currently works mainly in recitals, although they are preparing to be able to face projects of all kinds, such as social, corporate and for the show, with his sound and lighting services, adjustment and alignment of systems, live recording and technical advice for the development of cultural spaces.
As part of that preparation, this year the company decided to replace its analog amplification with digital systems, opting for the Powersoft K Series to take the first step.
Initially they acquired a K3 unit and, after experimenting with it and seeing the power and quality of the Italian amplification, they included more K6 and K8 with DSP to their stock.
"We bought a K3 amplifier and, at the first test, we realized it was time to direct our growth towards digital amplifiers. It is already public knowledge that Powersoft is one of the first brands worldwide for its power and reliability. Many colleagues, users of it, constantly recommended it to us, especially those who are already working with the X Series. In addition, the possibility of growth of amplifiers is really a very important plus evaluating the future," said German Vinante, partner and technician of G7.
Powersoft amplifiers are being used with two line arrays, Fusion Luma and Fusion Gema, of the Stanich brand, manufactured in Argentina, as well as with the Fusion Solo Floor sublows.
"With this new amplification, the performance of each system has really increased in its control, sound and dynamics. It is very impressive how the high dumping factor makes the speakers work perfectly controlling any unnecessary over-excursions," he added, noting that "the possibility of controlling the equipment through the Harmony software is another great advantage."
"We're really very happy to have bet on Powersoft. We believe it is a brand that has proven over time that its amplifiers are up to the most important demands," concluded Germán.
Since the acquisition, Powersoft amplifiers have been used in all the company's events, including a corporate event for La Casa de la Mujer, the Expo 2017 of General Rodríguez with various music shows for three days, the Parade of the Floats of the Fiesta de la Flor, and the celebrations for the anniversary of the neighborhood of Barracas, in Buenos Aires.
"In all cases, the result has been very good with the use of our Powersoft. We must highlight the dynamics and the headroom that they bring to the sound systems," explained Germán.
In addition, the company has been making use of the Armonía Pro Audio Suite software, with which they can adjust the limiters and protect the system precisely.
"Thanks to the ease of use of the Armonía software we were able, very quickly and efficiently, to adjust the relays by using a rangefinder, corroborating with Smaart 7V to ensure that the entire system was aligned," he concluded.
