Latin America. Christie has decided to expand its D Series with three new single-lamp models, with powers of up to 8100 ISO lumens and WUXGA and HD resolutions. Combining brightness, image quality, different lens and resolution options and a compact form factor, the Christie D Series leads the market by offering the best overall value at the most competitive price among projectors in its class.
The new D-Series projectors offer a contrast ratio of 65,000:1, a lamp life of 3,000 hours and easy integration that makes them especially suitable for universities, companies, museums, places of worship, government facilities and rental spaces and high-level shows, thanks to their perfect and harmonious integration into any environment.
"For pocket-conscious users, the new LWU720i-D, LWU620i-D and LHD720i-D projectors represent — for their high brightness and performance-rich design, but at half the price of competing laser phosphor units — the most viable alternative to laser phosphor projectors," said Jim Hall, Christie's Senior Product Manager.
He added, "Customers can continue to use the full D-Series lens set — including the UST (ultra-short throw) lens — resulting in greater installation flexibility. And with the new, more efficient 3LCD panels, the newly launched models offer better color and brightness than before."
Christie's new D-Series models are served with a three-year warranty for parts and labor, they are available from December 2017.
