Mexico. The Grill nightclub has been in operation for 29 years and is located in the heart of the city of Guanajuato, capital of the state that bears the same name.
It is one of the busiest nightclubs in the area and its owners are constantly looking for different audio and lighting solutions to provide the best service and atmosphere for those who come to have fun in Mexican nights.
Audio Acústica y Electrónica, Powersoft's distributor in Mexico, has a close relationship with the owners of Grill, with more than 10 years serving them to meet some of their technical needs.
It was in one of their visits to update the lighting control when they talked about the line of sound systems of Void Acoustics, a brand for which they were quickly interested, because in some trips abroad by the owners and partners as well as in a visit to the Main Room nightclub in Mexico City they could listen to the equipment live and realize that it was what they needed for their space entertainment.
The decision was unanimous and they continued with the total change of their audio system after 15 years without renewing it.
During the installation, the assembly of wiring and the assembly of racks were carried out by technicians hired by the disco with supervision of Audio Acústica, while the assembly of the horns, configuration of presets and commissioning were carried out by the trained technical staff of Audio Acústica.
The new Void system for the various spaces within Grill consists of 4 x Air Motion, 8 x Stasys Xair, 7 x Air Vantage, 2 x Stasys XV2, 4 x AirTen and 6 x Stasys 118, amplified using 2 x Bias V9 and 2 x Bias VQ of Void plus 2 x M30D, 3 x M50Q and one K10 from Powersoft.
"While we were doing the distribution project, we checked the characteristics of all the speakers and which amplifiers would give us enough power for them, so we arrived at this combination between the Void and Powersoft amplifiers," said Mario Alberto Zaragoza, technical advisor of Audio Acoustics and Electronics.
"For example, we occupy the M Series for monitoring and a small room together with the Air Ten, as well as for some media along with the Air Vantage," he added.
The result was exactly the desired one. "The customer was extremely satisfied! The directors and technicians of the nightclub exceeded their expectations to what has already been seen and heard elsewhere, achieving the goal of having a number one audio system. Undoubtedly, the synergy we managed to make with the Void and Powersoft brands has led us to be more committed to providing the best solutions and stand out in our services.
