Mexico. Chauvet and Onesixone have entered into a distribution agreement for SoundSwitch's interface and program package in the United States and other regions of the world.
SoundSwitch is a lighting control solution for DJs, which offers the possibility to activate and maintain the lighting show in sync with the music automatically, regardless of the order of playback of the audio tracks.
"This is a significant advance for DJs who want to create their own light show. SoundSwitch offers a total control experience through the DJ controller, seamlessly integrating DMX lighting with live audio," said Albert Chauvet, CEO of Chauvet.
DJs can use the SoundSwitch to link the lighting control to their audio tracks and video files, and then play them live synchronously from a controlling surface. SoundSwitch works with a wide variety of DJ controllers compatible with the Serato DJ program, the most widely used software for DJ control.
Partnering with a lighting industry leader like Chauvet will further accelerate the global adoption of this revolutionary technology, says SoundSwitch CEO Zak Meyers. Under the terms of the agreement, SoundSwitch will be distributed through much of Chauvet DJ's dealer network worldwide, including exclusively in the United States and its territories, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, Venezuela, Colombia, Guyana (French and English), Suriname, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay, United Kingdom, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg and France.
