Aten toured Brazil, Chile and Mexico

Latin America. Aten International remains firm in its intention to grow in the AV market of Latin America, where it has had important results. Therefore, in recent days the company's executives were visiting some countries in the region.

Daniel Shih, director for Latin America, and Ana Flores, from Aten's Latin America division, were in Brazil, Chile and Mexico, in order to strengthen the relationship with distributors in key countries, as well as understand a little more about the market and its trends for the coming years.

"We are doing very well in Latin America, being global leaders of KVM, this line has had very good acceptance in the region, but the goal is to strengthen our presence in other lines such as the PDU for data center rooms and our fastest growing line, Vancryst for professional audio and video," said Ana Flores.

During their meetings, Aten executives pushed two products in particular, the VM3200 modular matrix, 32 inputs by 32 outputs and the KE6900 video over IP extender.

Ana Flores added that "we are excited about the response we have had, although our presence in Latam has been beginning, several integrators and end consumers already know the product and trust it a lot. The VM Seamless Switch series for video wall and digital signage applications is a leading solution in the region. Its interface is easy to use, and this reduces the complexity associated with video wall configurations, digital signage and its control."

Finally, on Aten's plans for the region in 2017, he assured that Latin America represents for them a springboard to grow even more internationally.  "We hope to continue providing the optimal service that characterizes us and hand in hand with our partners to end up consolidating the market, deploying channels in Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia and Venezuela to meet the demand we have, this will represent an important boost in our competitiveness. In terms of events, for this year, we plan to participate in InfoComm in Brazil, Mexico and Colombia, as well as hold several seminars with key agents in the region."
