Latin America. In order to offer the professional AV market in Latin America audio and video products from brands that have extensive experience in the United States, Europe and Asia, but are little known in the region, AVITECH Plus emerged a year ago.
Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this company gathers nearly 30 years of experience in the Latin audiovisual industry from its two founders Máximo Wullich from Argentina and Melba Proctor from the Dominican Republic. They are distributors and also carry the representation of some brands for other regions outside Latin America, such as Africa and Europe.

He stressed that the idea since they considered opening the company was to offer products that would make a difference in the region, so they chose brands that provide high quality, with a long history, but new for Latin America.
"We know that arriving with little-known brands is not easy but that is the challenge. Those who know us know our trajectory and seriousness for business. In addition, each of the brands with which we work allow us to guarantee our customers that it gives them peace of mind when using them," he added.
Some of the brands represented by AVITECH Plus are: Severtson, projection screens; SMK-Link & Gyration, presentation and computer accessories; Off The Wall Audio Visual Furniture, Furniture for audio and video equipment; Straight Wire, cables for audio and video; BTX Intelligent Fashion, curtains, blinds and window accessories with integrated automation and control technology elements.
Finally, Melba Proctor pointed out that the Caribbean is one of the largest markets that are currently working, in addition to Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Ecuador and Peru.
